MAANI Hotel is currently seeking a dedicated IT Assistant / IT Support professional to join its team in Muscat, Oman. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who are passionate about information technology and enjoy providing technical support in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

The selected candidate will play an important role in maintaining the hotel’s IT infrastructure and ensuring that technology systems operate efficiently to support daily business operations.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Providing day-to-day technical assistance to hotel employees.
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware and software.
• Diagnosing and resolving IT-related issues in a timely manner.
• Supporting the smooth operation of network systems and Windows-based environments.
• Assisting with the maintenance of hotel technology platforms and IT equipment.
• Monitoring system performance and reporting technical issues when necessary.
• Working closely with other departments to ensure uninterrupted IT services.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should meet the following qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in IT support, preferably within the hospitality sector.
• Good understanding of computer hardware, software applications, networking, and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
• Experience providing first-level technical support and troubleshooting system issues.
• Knowledge of hotel management systems such as PMS, POS, CCTV, Access Control, or similar applications will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Familiarity with the hospitality industry in Oman is considered beneficial.
